HARDI Quarterly Association Update: 2024 Q1

Annual Conference Recap:

  • We had over 1940 attendees, 519 wholesaler attendees from 180 companies, and a sold-out Booth Program and Solutions Center.

  • We welcomed our new Board Chair, Loran Liu, and two new board members, Todd Shadden and Layne Miller.

Government Affairs updates:

  • The EPA is providing an additional year to install residential and light commercial air-conditioner and heating pumps.

  • The EPA also announced its plans to withdraw refillable cylinder and QR code tracking.

  • HARDI's Congressional Fly-In is happening May 21-22 and registration is open!

Market Intelligence:

  • Keep an eye out for the Compensation Survey that launches in late January and closes March 1st.

  • HARDI's Unitary report is relaunching as Unitary 2.0 and will be released in Q1 of 2024.

  • The State of the Channel will go live in February and is currently available for prepurchase.

Talent Development:

  • The Fundamentals of HVAC course launched and A2L workshop is set to deploy in Q1.

  • Territory and Branch Manager courses will happen in April.

  • Emerging Leaders is scheduled for July 23-25 in Boston this year.

LATAM:

  • HARDI LATAM's Annual Conference will be October 22 – 23 in Mexico City.

  • HARDI LATAM will participate in the Trends report in 2024, which will provide visibility to members and sponsors in markets south of the border.
