Senator Kyrsten Sinema

Former Senator Kyrsten Sinema attended HARDI's fly-in and received the Champion of Small Business award. In 2022, during the debate over President Biden's Build Back Better legislation, Senator Sinema opposed tax hikes on small businesses including HARDI members.

Congressman Tom Tiffany

Congressman Tom Tiffany visited Design Air in Wisconsin. Following his visit to Design Air, Congressman Tiffany cosponsored the SMART Energy Efficiency Standards Act which would repeal the installation date requirement in regional standards for HVAC energy efficiency standards.

Congressman John James

Congressman John James from Michigan visited the Behler-Young Company. Congressman James comes from a wholesale distribution background, his family operates a successful auto parts distribution company in Michigan.

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith visited Crescent Supply in Poplar Bluff, MO. As Chairman of the tax-writing committee, Congressman Smith will hold significant power over what any future tax legislation, including the extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, looks like.
