HVAC Trends in 2 Minutes: September 2025 Data

November 5, 2025 | 2 minute read

HVACR Trends in 2 Summary

In September 2025, distributor sales growth held steady between 4% and 4.5%, consistent with trends earlier in the year. While mid-single-digit gains looked positive, they were largely boosted by an extra billing day—without it, sales were essentially flat despite additional price increases. The cooling season modestly lifted annual growth from 4.2% to 4.6%, keeping it within this year’s narrow range. This year won’t be remembered for a strong cooling season, but distributors can look ahead to the heating season and the upcoming HARDInomics report for deeper insights at the annual HARDI conference next month.
