Update: Appeals Court Temporarily Stays Trade Court Injunction

The U.S. Court for International Trade has issued a permanent injunction halting President Trump’s reciprocal and fentanyl tariffs on nearly every country, ruling that the President does not have unlimited authority to impose tariffs and that trade deficits do not constitute an “unusual and extraordinary threat” under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
