California Governor Gavin Newsom Vetoes PFAS Prohibition Legislation

On October 13th, California Governor Gavin Newsom vetoed Senate Bill 682 (SB 682) from being enacted. Governor Newsom explained that the reason for the veto was that he is “deeply concerned about the impact this bill would have on the availability of affordable options for cooking products.”
