Bay Area Air Quality Management District Gives Update on Furnace Rule Change

On August 27th, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District hosted an implementation workshop to share the data it will consider as it drafts amendments to Rule 9-4. BAAQMD’s Rule 9-4 is the regulation that creates a zero-NOx emission mandate for the greater Bay Area. The BAAQMD’s staff recommendations, or report, will be presented to the BAAQMD Board of Directors on December 2nd.
