Maryland's New HVACR Sales Restrictions Now in Effect

During the 2025 Legislative Session, Maryland legislators passed HB1162 in response to growing complaints of bad actors in the industry performing jobs without proper licensing. HB1162 requires the Board of Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, or Refrigeration Contractors to adopt regulations enacting this bill's language.
