GOVERNMENT & TRADE RELATIONS

OVERVIEW

HARDI’s Government & Trade Relations Committee is a networking and advocacy strategy team of HVACR distributors and their channel partners that discusses current and future legislative and regulatory issues. The committee develops and recommends advocacy strategies, leads fact-finding missions, and fashions arguments on behalf of the HVACR distributor membership. This committee also works with HARDI’s international alliances and branding.

This committee provides the HARDI Board of Directors and Executive Committee, as well as the general membership, timely information on pending legislation and government regulations affecting the industry.

LEADERSHIP

All leadership positions are held for a term of 2 years. After the term, current committee members will identify possible replacements to the board from within the Supplier Membership. The current members will fill the role of nominating committee and present the possible candidates to the full membership for a vote.

In person at the Annual Conference, on an as-need basis at the Mid-Year Business Conference, and via conference call throughout the year.
