The goal of this council is to drive awareness and identify opportunities for association and member participation in appropriately identified humanitarian causes on a local, national and international level. This includes involvement with Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a national non-profit 501c 3 organization based in Taunton, MA, founded by John Gonsalves in 2004 (www.hfotusa.com). HARDI members have donated over $550,000 to HFOT through the Silent Auction, the HALO Walk, Operation HVAC and private donations.
Sometimes HARDI’s Charitable Work team needs the assistance of HARDI Council members. We ask that all HARDI Council members make it a priority to contribute when these issues arise.
